Terms of Service

1. What this site is

Sudak Customs runs Fortnite tournaments. This website lets you view upcoming tournaments, register for them with your Discord account, follow results, and host community tournaments of your own. By using the site you agree to these terms.

There are two kinds of tournament on the site. Official tournaments are organised by Sudak Customs staff and are pinned at the top of the tournaments page. Community tournaments are organised by other players, are listed separately and marked as such, and are not run by Sudak Customs.

2. Your account

You sign in through Discord. You are responsible for your Discord account and for anything done with it on this site. We may remove a registration or block an account that breaks tournament rules, cheats, or abuses the platform. A blocked account can no longer register for or host tournaments.

3. Tournaments and prizes

Prize pools, formats, schedules, and player limits are shown on each tournament page and can change before a tournament starts. Scoring follows the format listed on the tournament page. Registering for a tournament does not guarantee a slot in every match.

Prizes for official tournaments are paid out by Sudak Customs staff through Discord. Prizes for community tournaments are the host's responsibility alone: Sudak Customs does not hold, guarantee, or pay them, and any arrangement about them is between you and the host.

4. Hosting a community tournament

Any signed-in player can submit a community tournament. By submitting one you agree that:

  • Every submission is reviewed by staff before it becomes public. Until it is approved, only you and staff can see it. Staff may approve, reject, take down, or delete any community tournament at any time, and their decision is final. You are told the reason when a tournament is rejected or taken down.
  • Changes you make to an approved tournament stay visible but are flagged for staff, who may review it again. A tournament staff have taken down cannot be edited by its host.
  • You will actually run the event as described, apply its rules fairly, and pay out every prize you advertise yourself.
  • Your tournament must not mislead players, pose as an official Sudak Customs event, contain offensive or illegal content, or link to scams, malware, or anything you do not have the right to use. Text containing words on our blocklist is refused.
  • You can remove or ban players from your own tournament only. Do so fairly and in line with the rules you published.
  • You can delete your own tournament while nobody has registered. Once players have signed up, ask staff to delete it.
  • There are limits on how many tournaments you can have waiting for review and running at once. They are shown on the hosting page.

Breaking these rules can get your tournaments removed and your account blocked from hosting or from the site.

5. Fair play

Cheating, teaming outside the rules, account sharing, or exploiting bugs gets you removed from the tournament and possibly from future events. Staff decisions about rule violations are final, including on community tournaments.

6. Messages from the bot

By registering for a tournament you agree to receive Discord direct messages from our bot about that tournament. These cover things like team invites, entry requirements that stopped checking out, and reminders to finish a team that still has empty spots. Staff can send the reminder to everyone whose team is not full. There is a cooldown on it so the same person is not messaged repeatedly.

If you host a community tournament, the bot also messages you when staff approve, reject, or take it down.

If you close your DMs you will still see the same messages in the notification bell on this site. Unregistering stops them.

7. Advertising

Community tournament pages may show advertisements from sponsors. An official tournament page only shows one from a sponsor of that specific event. Clicking an advertisement takes you to a website we do not control, and what you do there is between you and the advertiser. An advertisement is not an endorsement by Sudak Customs or by the tournament's host.

8. Liability

The site is provided as is. We are not affiliated with Epic Games or Discord. Fortnite is a trademark of Epic Games, Inc. We do our best to keep the site accurate and online but cannot promise it will always be either.

Community tournaments are organised by their hosts. Staff check them before they go public, but Sudak Customs is not responsible for how a host runs their event, for its rules, or for its prizes.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms, or reports about a community tournament, are best raised with staff in the Sudak Customs Discord server.
